about

if you pressed play, thank you. if you felt something you heard, i'm grateful. if you purchased Grub Related, i appreciate you. this is my first album. i've been making music for a long ass time though. i'm not quite 30. anyway. thanks for stopping past. i'm Fleetwood. both my grandparents drove Cadillacs. i got a lot of my game from them. sometimes i tell people my government name is Fleetwood. for all you know, it is.

i make songs about whatever i feel it's necessary for me to make songs about. "Grub Related", as an album, is, mostly a collection of songs i had to make for personal and political purposes between summer 2015 and winter 2017. "Grub Related", as an idea, is a recognition and a celebration of love, family, endurance, fellowship, and perseverance. it's an attempt at coining a concise name for all of my family, blood, and extended. anybody i ever shared with, anybody who ever shared with me, we're grub related (or grub-related, i think, for all you grammatical fucks). anyone who broke bread with you and put good intent into good action, and vice versa, y'all grub related. anybody you ever survived with, y'all grub related. cherish yourself. cherish your people. keep pushing. thanks again.
